The Route

The Karachi Marathon route commences at Nishan-e-Pakistan and proceeds eastbound on Sea View Road towards Clock Tower. Continuing onto Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue, runners will pass Emaar.

The route then merges onto Do Darya Road, maintaining a southeasterly direction. At Creek Marina Towers, participants will execute a sharp right turn.

A U-turn will be performed at the Khayaban-e-Shajar intersection, directly in front of DHA Golf Club. The return journey will follow the same route, culminating back at Nishan-e-Pakistan.

Course Details

The route starts and ends at Nishan-e-Pakistan, running along the scenic Sea View coastline to Emaar ocean front and back, offering stunning ocean views and a flat, runner-friendly path.

Timing: Each participant’s time is recorded using timing chips for accuracy.

Race Format

Each team member covers 10.55 kilometres, and as a team they run the full marathon.

All members will start together at the start line.

All participants must be aged 18 years or older on event day

Rules

No prams, scooters, or handcycles/crank cycles are to be taken onto the course. Push wheelchairs are permitted.

What’s included in the entry fee?

Your entry fee includes your race bib, timing tag, finisher medal and one official active wear T-Shirt.

Bib Collection

See our Social Media page and website for all the information. All participants will be required to collect their race bib from the Expo between Thursday 1st January 2026 – and Saturday 3rd January 2026.

Baggage

A dedicated Baggage Counter will be available on event day for all runners who wish to drop their bags before the race.

Transport

Transportation to and from the event is not provided. Participants are advised to make their arrangements in advance to ensure timely arrival and departure.

Awards

Fastest Team Overall: Special recognition with a relay marathon champion trophy and a feature on the Karachi Marathon website.

Individual Medals: All participants receive a finisher medal upon completing their 10.55K run.

Scoring

Team performance is based on the average time of all four members’ individual 10.55K runs. The team with the lowest average time wins.
